Millions of people starve to death, are malnourished, and have no access to basic necessities. This message must be put into effect for millions of Muslims and non-Muslims across the world. Wealthy Muslims may be unaware of how their money may benefit whole communities. Giving charity appropriately is critical for both the well-being of the poor and the ultimate pleasure of the rich. This idea was constantly highlighted by the Prophet (S).
The Prophet said: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.” (Al-Tirmidhi)
The Prophet also said: “Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Al-Tirmidhi).
The Prophet said: “When a person dies his works end, except for three: ongoing charity, the knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him.” (Muslim, Al-Tirmidhi, others).
Therefore, charity acts as a means of bringing justice, balance, and kindness to all societies and communities. We hope that the Muslim community executes its philanthropic obligations appropriately and contributes to the abolition of poverty in all communities.
